Outer Banks Fishing in Late June
As Spring gives way to Summer, Outer Banks fishing is action packed and going strong. Our inshore boats are catching good numbers of Spanish Mackerel & Bluefish. The big cobia should be back any day now, as the warm water pushes back toward the beach. Intermediate charters are tangling with lots of big, hungry amberjack, for some hard fighting action. Folks interested in stocking the freezer with some great-tasting seafood are catching limits of nice size tilefish & sea bass, on the Ocean Wreck trips. Offshore fishing is incredible right now. One day we are getting tuna over 100 pounds each, the next we are catching 500 pounds of big gaffer dolphin, along with the most highly prized, blue marlin.
Charters are booking up fast. Give us a call at (252)255-2248 to get in on this fantastic action. Many days in the coming weeks are also beginning to fill up. Don’t wait until you get here to book a trip, you may be disappointed. We have several make-up charters coming together up to a month in advance. If surf fishing is more your style, stop by the store for some XXL bloodworms. The tasty sea mullet are starting to pick up again, as well as some tailor blues &Â spot.
Lastly, don’t forget about the head boat. We have fishing trips daily for only $35 per person, and Sunset / Dolphin Watch cruises for $15 per person.
Have a safe and enjoyable vacation.
