!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!COBIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cobia are here!!!!!  I fished as the mate on the Fine Line with Capt. Caine Livesley yesterday and we had a slammer day.  We started out at the 102 tower and caught 35+++ amberjacks, all on jigs, and all but 2 were released, we kept the 2 because the were gut hooked and we did not want them to become barracuda food.  We also caught a 13 pound bluefish.  After the people in the party decided that they had enough punishment we decided to come to the beach and look for a cobia.  It paid off.  We saw 12 and caught 5 up to 53 pounds.  It was a day full of rod bending and drag screaming.  Other than that the surf fishing in Duck yesterday was good with lots of blues and seamullets.  There is a low tide at 12:48pm and a high tide at 7:38pm.  The water temperature at the Duck Pier is 61.5.

Good Luck,

Chris at Sharky’s
