WE WILL BE WHERE THE FISH ARE!!!

Well it is time to start talking about winter time striper trips. As most of you know, the striper fishing out of Oregon Inlet over the past two winters has not been up to par. There were some fish around, but nothing like it used to be. The main body of fish have been staying off Virginia Beach due to the unusually warm winters we have had. With this in mind we have decided to have a boat wear the fish are. This winter we will be operating two boats out of Rudy Inlet in Virginia Beach, and three boats out of Oregon Inlet. We are starting to take reservations now for both locations, so don’t miss out on some of the best fishing the east coast has to offer. For more info you can call me at the store, (252)255-BAIT
Good Luck,

About tide change at 4:30 a.m. at the little bridge, Daniels bridge, the trout are out! The baby blues kept the trout so busy that they didn’t have much chance to take a bloodworm (the fake ones.) There were so many trout jumping and flipping around in front of me it was down right pure ridiculous. Mark, visiting from Rocky Mount, caught two foot long nice trout on blood worms, and I caught a 9″ flounder that had to be thrown back. I am writing this because there are ALOT of trout south of that little bridge if anyone is interested. I surprisingly caught a couple ribbon fish about 2 feet long under the bridge a couple weeks ago. The local guys were really surprised to hear that ribbon fish were out there, but I am bringing a photo to the little tackle shop eastside of the bridge to hang up on their bragging wall just to prove it, lol! Even though I was caught in a couple little rain showers, it was worth the dozen huge blue crab I caught in a metal drop cage justto keep them off my lures all night. Sad about the Kitty Hawk pier getting busted down during this last nor’ easter. Anyway, go to the little bridge for some beautiful trout….good luck!
