Outer Banks Fishing Report

The stripers have shown up on the Outer Banks.  We are catching fish from Duck all the way to Avon.  The fish are also in the inlet.  With the early cold spell that we have had, and the forcasted cold winter ahead, I anticipate a very good striper season on the Outer Banks.  No need to go to Virginia Beach this year.  Tuna fishing has also been good offshore with limits of 30 to 50 pound yellowfin tuna being brought back to the dock.  With the price of fuel dropping we have lowered or offshore price to $1450 on the Hoo Dini.  Half day striper trips are $475,  3/4 day trips are $725, and full day trips are $850.  Striper dates are beginning to fill up so you may want to book now to insure that you get in the meet.
