LATE SUMMER FISHING
Published on August 21st, 2009 | Click for more |The fishing is right on schedule this year. Late summer species have arrived in force. Inshore charters have been very consistent with spanish mackerel and bluefish, also the tackle busting albacore have shown up. Surf fishing has been good for spot croker and sea mullets. Offshore the billfish have shown up in force, many boats have been hooking multiple fish every day. Yesterday the Hoo Dini with Capt. Jay Watson caught a limit of tilefish, fifteen dolphin and two sailfish.
Good Luck,
